Release Highlights

Key changes of the 4.4.0 release:

• Vaadin (UI framework) and Spring (core framework): updated to the recent versions.
• Dockerization: distribution was updated to allow for smooth run inside Docker container. Example Docker image build and Compose files available in distribution.
• JSON Backup/Restore available from the REST API.
• Several performance and stability improvements.

Upgrade from 4.3.x

Unity-IdM 4.4.0 introduces minor migration changes (adding a new index), so it is recommended to back up the database and thoroughly test the new release before performing an upgrade on production instances.
